If you’re interested in green business (and if you’re reading this blog I’m going to say that you are) then you have to read a blogpost by our friend, Dennis Salazar, President of Salazar Packaging, Inc., at greenbiz.com called “Is There a Disconnect In Your Green Company?” He lists several key reasons why employees may lack the motivation to make their work as sustainable as possible. As with any corporate commitment, value or mission statement it is imperative that ALL team members get it, buy it, believe it and do it. “Sustainability” may not be the physical product you sell, but it is part of your corporate philosophy and possibly more importantly, your brand.
