When I go to the beach I dont want to see lots of junk on the beach. That’s Blake holding stuff from a 10 minute walk at Robert Moses Beach in New York.  The thing is we didn’t need to go looking for this stuff. It was all over. Little bits of plastic bags and wrappings and all sorts of bits and pieces.  I guess you can ignore it or pretend it’s not there but if you love clean beaches, then you need to get involved. That’s why it’s so important to be in tune with organizations like Surfrider and Heal the Bay and RiverKeeper. They work actively to motivate, educate and legislate around cleaning up our waters.
